  October 8, 2022 - Little Falls, NY

  We had the best time hosting our clients

  at this year's annual Client Appreciation Event.

  The MV Golf & Event Center was the perfect

  location for pumpkin painting and picture taking.

  The food was delicious, the drinks were flowing,

  & the music kept the atmosphere fun and lively.

  We can not wait to start planning the next event! 




  July 31, 2022 - Aurora, NY

  Our Investment Analyst Janice Williams (center)

  competed in the Women's 55-59 age group

  of Empire Senior Games held in Aurora, New York,

  winning silver medals in the 5K and 10K time trials,

  as well as the 20K road race. She is now qualified

  to compete in the Cycling National Senior Games

  to be held in Pittsburgh, July of 2023. 



 

   June 14, 2022 - Utica, NY

 

  Stephanie was excited to collaborate with her peers in today's

 meeting of the National Operational Excellence Council (NOEC).


 Representing for Royal Alliance, she 1 of 12 financial professionals in addition

 to several home office leaders within the Advisor Group network, the council

 had a successful meeting and is looking forward to sharing additional updates

 soon on how AG is listening to our feedback to make doing business for

 professional and their clients more efficient and effective, WINS!

  We would like to introduce the newest member of the AGFS family - 

  welcome James D. Hawley! 


  Congratulations to Heather, David, and big sister Ariana on the healthy

  new addition.


  March 7, 2022 - Utica, NY

  Stephanie named an inaugural member of Advisor Group's

  National Operational Excellence Council. 

  The selection process involved a first round written application

  and second round video submission. Stephanie was chosen as

  1 of only 12 members representing the wealth management firms

  to serve on the council out of over 150 applicants. 

  The National Operational Excellence Council represents the 

  the interests and voices of all Advisor Group financial professionals

  as it strives to create efficiencies and make it easier to do 

  business. 



  October 10, 2021 - Utica, NY

  Heather & Stephanie participated in the historic 2021 installment of the

  Utica Boilermaker. This was the first time in Boilermaker history

  that the run was hosted in October. 


  Heather ran with her husband, David, and both had a great time.

  Stephanie finished the 15k with a personal record with a time

  of 94 minutes 2 seconds. At the finish line she ran into her friend

  Joe who you may recognize from her Heart Run and Walk photos. 


  Great job to all runners who participated and we look forward

  to 2022!


  


 


  October 3, 2021 - Utica, NY


  AGFS boarded the Adirondack Scenic Railroad train along with

  a large group of our clients to take in the autumn sites. We 

  departed the Utica station and made the turn around at the 

  Thendara station with lots of great food, local brews from 

  Copper City Brewing Co., and entertainment by the Work Related

  Duo. 


  It is our absolute pleasure to share with our clients how much we

  appreciate the trust they've placed with us in guiding them to

  confident financial lives and futures.

  AGFS is proud to introduce our newest team member, 

  Janice Williams, CFA, CPFA. Her focus will be on 

  investment analysis, portfolio construction, and 

  management. 


  We have known Janice for many years and welcome

  her not only for the excellent knowledge and experience

  she brings, but for the great team player, friend, and 

  fun co-worker we know she will be.  


  


 


  August 22, 2021 - Utica, NY


  Stephanie participated in the 2021 Tunnel to Towers 5K Run Utica. 

  This was the first year that Utica hosted a city run/walk as part of

  The Tunnel to Towers Foundation's National Run, Walk & Climb Series.


  Some of the proceeds raised in 2021 helped pay off the mortgages

  on 50 homes of fallen heroes across the country. 


  The 2nd Annual Tunnel to Towers Utica will be on

  Sunday, August 21, 2022.

  July 18, 2021 - Utica, NY


  Stephanie and her friend, Courtney, participated in The Erie Canal

  Half Marathon Relay. Finishing as the 10th team to cross the finish 

  and the first team to finish in the open women's division, they put

  on a good showing of how 'Moms Have More Run'.

  The AGFS crew planned an office retreat at Canadarago Lake. 


  On the agenda was a review of the current business plans,

  some team building exercises, lunch, and a tour around

  the lake. 


 


  March 26, 2021 - Utica, NY


  We are pleased to announce that Trinity has

  completed her first big step forward for her

  future career in the financial industry!


  Trinity sat for and passed the Finra SIE

  exam on March 26, 2021. The SIE is the

  Securities Industry Essentials Exam and is an

  introductory-level exam that assesses a candidate's

  knowledge of basic securities industry information. 


  Next up for her is to continue her studies and

  take the Finra Series 7 this summer before beginning

  her fall semester of college.

  March 3, 2021 - Utica, NY


  We are pleased to announce that Stephanie is now a

  Registered Assistant!


  Stephanie sat for and passed the Finra Series 7

  exam on February 26, 2021. The Series 7 is the

  General Securities Representative Exam.


  Next up for her is to continue her studies and

  take the Finra Series 24 later this year.


  December 22, 2020 - Utica, NY


  Our final holiday donation was to the Central New York

  Veterans Outreach Center.


  With a majority of our staff either being a veteran or

  having family and friends who are veterans or active

  duty, we felt a donation to this local non profit was a

  most. We collected non perishable pantry items,

  personal hygiene products, and lightly worn clothes

  in addition to the brand new collection of cold weather

  gear and clothing that we delivered. The donation

  was greatly appreciated by the volunteers who even

  referred to Stephanie as 'Santa's Helper'.

  December 17, 2020 - West Winfield, NY


  Keeping the season of giving going, AGFS made a monetary

  donation to the West Winfield chapter of the Rotary Club.


  As a resident of West Winfield, Stephanie was blessed to be

  able to present the donation to her father in law,

  C.W. "Budd" Osborn, who has been a member of

  the Rotary Club for many years and is the current secretary.


  The donation was made to their Christmas Basket Program.

  This year the West Winfield chapter had 65 families that

  were provided with donations of food and 415 gifts to help

  celebrate the holiday season.

  In what had been a challenging year for everyone,

  we wanted to give back during the season of giving.


  We were very fortunate to have a connection to

  Operation Sunshine & the Rescue Mission here in Utica, NY.

  Emily and Stephanie dropped off a cart full of toys, games,

  books, crafts, and warm weather gear to benefit

  children in need during the holiday season

  in the Mohawk Valley.

  All of us at AGFS love the work we do, and that is attributable

  to our great clients. Meeting clients and hosting our annual

  events is always a highlight for us. Regrettably, the

  circumstances of the year limited our options.

  So, we asked what could we do to say thank you for choosing us

  as your Financial Advisor team? Bake cookies of course!

  With some sugar and spice and the expert guidance from

  from the owner and staff of Wisk Baking Co. in Utica, NY,

  made over 1,000 cookies and shipped them directly

  to our clients' homes.

  We are OPEN! and have remained open during the NYS

  shelter in place order as an essential business to continue to

  provide you, our clients, the expert care and services that

  you've come to know and expect. With the implementation of

  virtual meetings and conference calls,we were able to seamlessly

  continue to meet the high level of customer service needed to

  provide you with peace of mind even with the new normal.


  But we are excited to announce we welcome you, once again, to

  schedule face to face appointments.Of course, Per NY state

  guidelines, masks are encouraged and new sanitation procedures

  are in place.


  We can't wait to see you all again and we thank you for the trust

  you've given us to help guide you on your financial journey.


  March 7, 2020 - Syracuse, NY


  Heather participated in the 15th Annual Tipperary Hill

  Shamrock Run for the first time.


  The Shamrock Run partners with the St. Patrick

  Hunger Project encouraging participants and spectators

  to bring either food donations of non-perishable canned

  or boxed food or monetary donations. Donations are

  distributed through the Inter-religious Food Consortium

  and the Food Bank of CNY.


  March 7, 2020 - Utica, NY


  Stephanie & friends participated in the American Heart Association's

  Heart Run & Walk completing the 5 mile run as part of Team Jayden


  Stephanie also volunteers her time at the registration annually along

  side an AGFS familiar face, Colleen Thomas.


  This year, Utica's Heart Run & Walk has raised a total of $754,812.77!
